Arbonne cosmetics are botanically based formulas to help bring out your natural beauty. Arbonne International makes cosmetics easy so you can pick shades according to your eye, hair and skin tone and color. After trying several of these products over the past couple of weeks, I have decided what I like and what I could live without!
- About Face Eye Shadows: The eye shadows contain a lot of pigment in their colors so a little bit goes a long ways. These eye shadows last all day and looked very natural. Even the bright jade I tried looked nice. The colors blend easily and I received a lot of compliments on them.
- About Face Lash Colour: The mascara is a long wearing formula that didn't irritate my eyes. It is water-resistant so I didn't have to worry about makeup smudges if my eyes watered, but it made it easy to remove at the end of the day. I did notice that this mascara did not lengthen my lashes or make them thicker. If you have sparse eyelashes this is probably not the mascara for you.
- About Face Blushes: OK-maybe it is just me and maybe I didn't have the best colors for my skin tone; but the blush went on WAY too dark. Even using the tiniest bit was still too much. They also didn't blend very well which was not pretty either. After flipping through the Arbonne catalog I would say the makeup artist had the same problem I did because a majority of the models were wearing way too much blush!
- About Face Lipstick: This lipstick was a very light and moisturizing formula. I would have very easily forgotten I was wearing it except for the horrible smell. Again, it might just be me and maybe I'm picky. But I thought the lipstick was rather stinky! If you can get pass the smell, it did last a long time
- About Face Prep and Plump lip gloss: Arbonne makes two different lip glosses. I tried this one which is a double ended applicator containing one side of color gloss and the other being a clear formula to help plump your lips. Honestly, I didn't tell a difference in the size of my lips. It did tingle when I put it on but I never noticed my lips being any different then they were before. I don't really have thin lips so maybe it is just not meant for me. If you have thin lips it just might be an answer to your prayers.
- About Face Travel Palette: I loved this very handy and very cute palette. It is a perfect size that would easily fit into your purse or makeup bag. The palette can hold 6 eye shadows, 2 blushers, plus applicators. The mirror included is very big and stayed fairly clean as well. It is very cute!
Arbonne has many color products that I didn't get a chance to try. I would love to try the brow wax; I think that looks completely awesome. If you would like to give Arbonne a try, contact your Arbonne Representative.
