There are many forms of concealers and picking the correct form will make the difference in "hiding" your imperfections.

When you are plagued with different problem areas, you need the perfect formula of concealer to correct it. Matching the texture of the concealer formula to the skin imperfection is the perfect solution.

Formulas and Textures of Makeup Concealer:

Solid Cream Stick: This is a full coverage concealer so it is perfect for blemishes and skin discolorations. However, it is hard to blend and think so not the best option for under the eye.

Pot Concealer: Similar to the stick concealer because it also provides full coverage. Pot concealer blends better and is a more moisturizing form which makes it great for under the eye.

Tube Concealer: Tube concealer is a creamier formula and the easiest to blend which makes it more useful, especially if you have different types of skin problems.

Wand Concealer: This is the lightest formula, which makes it great for touch ups but not the best for overall coverage.

Pencil Concealer: Pencil concealer is perfect to cover tiny skin imperfections. Just "draw" to hide.

Highlighting Pens: Highlighting pens are a new product to the cosmetic industry and not a lot of cosmetic companies have caught the bandwagon yet. They don't actually hide or cover any imperfections, they actually reflect the light to bring out the caved in areas. This is perfect for dark circle touch up and shadows caused by bags or wrinkles.
