With the use of eyebrow makeup you can fill in and enhance your eyebrows. Eyebrow makeup comes in different forms and many colors to choose from.
We spend a lot of time making sure our eyebrows have the perfect shape. However eyebrow makeup is usually the forgotten product in the makeup regimen. When using the correct eyebrow product and eyebrow color, anyone can have perfect eyebrows.
Eyebrow Products
Eyebrow Pencil: The eyebrow pencil is the most common product to use on ones eyebrows. However it can look harsh, so be sure to have a sharp point for easier application. For a more natural look, use short soft strokes and remember to blend with a firm eyebrow brush.
Eyebrow Powder: Brow powder is always a matte powder with high color pigments. You can also use an eye shadow that is matte and matches your hair color. Eyebrow powder provides the most natural look. Apply with an angle eye brush and with light strokes. Blend with an eyebrow brush.
Eyebrow Gel: Brow gel comes in clear or color formulas. It is only necessary if you have unruly eyebrows. If you use the clear formula, fill in prior with an eyebrow pencil or powder and apply the gel on top.
Eyebrow Colors
It can be hard to figure out the exact color you should use on your eyebrows. Sometimes we are taught to match your hair color exactly and there is some truth to that. However that doesn't work for everyone. Here is a simple guide to help you choose the best color for you.
Blonde-Blonde
Dark Blonde/Light Brown-Blonde pencil or light brown powder
Brown/Dark Brown-Chestnut
Black-Soft Black
Silver/Gray-Blonde
Natural Redheads-Blonde
Chosen Redheads-Auburn

I can't find eyebrow pencils in charcoal, which is what I've worn since I
was a teenager. I have blonde (natural) hair and light skin, so the light
browns are always too red. Please direct me to some sites where I
might find them.

Honestly, I'm not sure why you want black eyebrows if you have a fair
complexion and blonde hair. If the light brown eyebrow pencils are not
working I would try a light brown brow powder or matte eyeshadow and apply
with a eyebrow brush. If you want a charcoal eyebrow pencil I would guess
Sephora would have a wide variety of eyebrow pencil colors.

ysl do an eyebrow pencil in an ashy colour (no4) its perfect, no hint of
red in it at all. Best one I have ever used and I have been trying
different browns for the past 10 years and they have all looked unnaturel.

To make your eyebrows fuller, you will need an eyebrow pencil and eyebrow
powder (matte eye shadow will work too) in the same color or slightly
lighter than the hair color.
Use the pencil first and do light
strokes to fill in the brow. Then go over with the powder to set, blend,
and fill in.

I'm looking for a tube with eyebrow color/wax for shaping and coloring
brows. I found the item I'm using at CVS Pharmacy but there is no
manufacturer on the tube and I cannot find it anywhere. Can someone let me
know? D

My eyebrows appear to stop in the middle of my eye, the remainder has hair
but it is the same color as my complexion. Should I use eyebrow pencil or
powder to darken the hair and give my eyebrows a more complete appearance.
Or is there something I can come through it to make it darker, they have a
very beautiful naturl arch so I want to only enhance what is already
there.

Use whatever you feel comfortable with. I prefer a brow powder, I think it
looks more natural. But a pencil will work also.
Another option
is to have the brow tinted...Go to a PROFESSIONAL and have them darken that
section of the eyebrows using a product specific for the eye area.

I used "brow shaper by coco channel" in taupe. Nordstrom no
longer carries it and said channel no longer makes it. Is there a
substitute on the market? ddellegraz@aol.com

Honestly, I'm not familiar with the product so I can't recommend a
comparable one. If I were you I would stop at a beauty store like Sephora
and see if they have a similar product.

I have a fair complexion and due to age and overplucking I have little
to no eyebrows. Can you suggest what I can do to have them look
natural looking? What eyebrows I have are light colored or gray...I
have such a hard time each and every morning trying to put them on and
getting them even... I have tried using pencils and powders.. I feel
everyone looks at them, I am never happy with the outcome, after spending
so much time on them in the mornings.

You can get eyebrow stencils, that might help in getting them placed and
even. You might consider getting them tattoed on. If you can do some
research about local tattoo artists and maybe that would be a better more
permanent option.
