Many cosmetic companies have come out with lip products to help you achieve the look of plump lips. One alternative to costly cosmetic products is to make your own lip p

Every girl wants full, pouty lips but we are not all born that way. There are lipstick techniques to help achieve this look but another alternative is a lip plumper. Cosmetic companies have heard your prayers and made several products to help get plump lips. However the most beneficial products come with a hefty price tag as well.

For a fraction of the cost, you can receive the same benefits with the following “recipe” for a lip plumper. So get out your teaspoons and measuring cups…lets make some cosmetics!

Ingredients:

  • Small jar with lid
  • Vaseline
  • Bee’s wax or Chapstick
  • Ground Ginger
  • Ground Cayenne or Red Pepper
  • Peppermint Extract

Take about a teaspoon of Vaseline and mix it with half a teaspoon of bee’s wax (or use two tubes of Chapstick). Start with small amounts and mix the ginger and cayenne. These products will cause a stinging sensation but really helps with the plumping affect. Add one to two drops of the Peppermint Extract. The peppermint gives the gloss a cool and fresh flavor. But don’t use too much!

Keeping this product fresh will be a factor but with the right purchase of the small jar, you should be fine.

Thank you to Cynthia Inez Torrez for sharing this recipe!

heyy i tried this and it worked well the first time. it actually swelled my lips up ( more on on side) and i couldnt feel my lips and they feltlike rubber. then i used it again after a week and it worked ok. i guess it was an allergic reaction and my lips became immune to it. either way it works and i recomend it. though im looking in to gettin implants :) lol

Thank you I have tried everything. I am pushing 70 and therefore my lips seem to be going inside somewhere. HaHa. Anyway, please honor my wishes. I am sincere.

The amount used is up to you. Because they are spices others may be able to tolerate a lot and some may not be able to use more than a dash. I recommend trying just a little bit at a time, you can always mix in more if needed.

i didnt use peppermint and added cinamon and honey instead. coz the vaseline and honey are great for shine and honey soothes plus honey is easier 2 find than peppermint, and cinnamon is another plumper.
and i tinted it with the tiniest amount of food colouring.

For 2 years I've tried a lot of products that offered to "plump up" the lips. Let's face it, most women wouldn't mind having Angelina Jolie lips. Unfortunately, none of the products worked for me until now. I found online the lip plumping balms by Isabella Pelle and they work. They cost $12.00 for a multipack, and they ship 4 free worldwide. This site was recommended to me by my friend. Check out their site if you want plumper lips. Maria
