» MaJ9 - working day makeup

Hi Chrissy,
Can you pls give me some tips on how I can apply makeup during daytime at work. I would like to do it differently everyday rather than the same look every single day?
:-)
Tx,
J9

Good question, that gives me some ideas for an article or two! The best day look (depending on the work situation) is to use lighter, earth tones. They are more professional and don't cause a lot of attention to your makeup, just your natural beauty. With that said, you can play with colors in subtle ways. Using different shades of eyeliner or layering a fun color lightly over the lid of a more neutral shade. This downplays the color a bit but spices up your everyday makeup as well. Thanks for commenting!

Thanks for answering me back so quickly. BTW, can you give me an example of neutral shades?
Would cream eyeshadow be ok as well?
What about those glitter eyeshadows?

Neutral shades would be browns, golds...that kind of stuff...
Cream eyeshadow is ok unless you have oily skin or your eyemakeup creases alot. Those are the only conditions I have. If you have oily skin, it will probably slide right off. Glitter eyeshadows, not for the workplace (assuming you work in an office situation). Also glitter depends on age, if you are getting older then glitter wouldn't be the best for you. You can use shimmer but glitter is completely different.
